The Polish Economic Chamber of Wood Industry is one of the biggest Polish self-regulatory organization which brings together producers of wood products. It has been established in 1994 and it associates approximately 140 companies, the majority of which are sawmill companies. They mostly sell softwood and hardwood timber, however almost every company also produces garden equipment, floors, pallets, wooden houses, briquettes and pellets. Machine and tool producers as well as traders are also a part of the Chamber.
